Introduction
Schooling and education seemed like a waste of time as a child and a young man. Adventure and action were significantly more appealing than books, and I followed the family tradition of serving in the military. After Operation Iraqi Freedom and after my enlistment ended, the transition to civilian life proved to be difficult. I found myself living a double life. In the public eye, I was an upstanding family man, church going type of guy, who appeared to have his life figured out. However, my private life was filled with addiction, shame, and struggle. I know what it's like to feel trapped and powerless over something. This led to my own healing journey, to partake in counseling, and then back to school to pursue a degree and a career doing what others had done for me.
I love the Colorado lifestyle of outdoor adventure and exploration. I am an avid runner who loves long-distance/ultra events. I love my wife, three beautiful kiddos, and awesome dog. I am blessed to serve those who desire freedom, connection, and hope in their lives. Journeying with those who seek life change is a privilege for me, and I am honored that you would consider me a fellow traveler toward health and well-being.
